SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference announced 38 The Citadel student- and cadet-athletes earned a position on the league's Fall 2024 All-Academic Team, per a release from the SoCon office late Thursday morning.

To be eligible for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.3 cumulative grade-point average at the conclusion of the fall semester and were required to compete in at least one-half of their teams' competitions during the recently concluded campaign. In addition, the student-athletes must have successfully completed at least three semesters at their institutions, making true freshmen and first-year transfers ineligible for inclusion.

Three cadet-athletes maintained perfect 4.0 cumulative GPAs, including volleyball's Jaelynn Elgert and football's Elijah Bass and Saul Diaz.

For the Bulldogs, football led the way with 22 honorees followed six for cross country along with five for both volleyball and women's soccer.
