The Citadel basketball team will open the 2025–26 season on Monday, Nov. 3, when the Bulldogs host Erskine inside McAlister Field House. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game is presented by Pepsi.
The Bulldogs enter the new campaign after a productive preseason where the team focused on competing, improving, and building consistency together. Returning contributors such as
headline a roster that blends experience with several newcomers eager to make an impact.
Following Monday's opener, The Citadel will travel to Boston College (Nov. 6) before returning home to face Charleston Southern (Nov. 10). The November slate continues with home matchups against North Greenville (Nov. 19), Bellarmine (Nov. 24), and Houston Christian (Nov. 26), before closing the month at a neutral-site contest against Presbyterian (Nov. 30) in Asheville, N.C.
The Bulldogs hit the road in December for non-conference games at Davidson (Dec. 4), South Carolina (Dec. 13), College of Charleston (Dec. 17), and Richmond (Dec. 20), while hosting Southern Wesleyan (Dec. 9) in their final home game before the holidays.
Southern Conference play begins on Dec. 30, when the Bulldogs host ETSU at McAlister Field House. The conference slate continues through January and February with home contests against Wofford, Western Carolina, Furman, VMI, UNCG, Mercer, Samford, and Chattanooga, along with road games at Mercer, UNCG, VMI, ETSU, Samford, Chattanooga, Western Carolina, Furman, and Wofford.
The '25-26 Southern Conference Championship is scheduled for March 6–9 at the Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville, N.C., with coverage on ESPN+.

Fans will also have an early opportunity to connect with the program at a special Tip-Off event on Saturday, Nov. 1, following the VMI football game, at Over-the-Horizon Brewing Co. from 5–9 p.m., featuring food, music, and a chance to celebrate the start of the season.
