CHARLESTON, S.C. -- In spite of a memorable come-from-behind effort throughout the second half, The Citadel (4-7, 3-4 SoCon) failed to execute down the stretch against in-state rival Wofford (5-6, 4-3 SoCon), dropping a narrow 16-14 decision to the Terriers on Saturday afternoon at Sansom Field at Johnson Hagood Stadium.
"In the red zone you have to score," head coach
Maurice Drayton said. "We were one-of-three and they were three-of-three in the red zone. That's the difference in the game."
