  • A pair of Keydet free throws extended the difference back to 17, 68-51, but back-to-back threes and an Adebisi dunk capped off a 12-2 Bulldogs run that shrunk the deficit back to single digits, 68-61 with 6:15 to go.
  • VMI responded with the next five points after its timeout, 73-61, before a Fox layup with 54 ticks remaining made it an eight-point affair, 76-68.
  • The Citadel had to foul to give itself a chance but VMI went 6-for-6 from the line in the final seconds to hold off the Bulldogs, 82-70.

  • Fox and Glover began the second half with 3-pointers, part of The Citadel's 8-0 start to the half, to force a Wofford timeout two minutes in.
  • Glover hit another triple out of the timeout as the Bulldogs shrunk the deficit to 15, 52-37, before a pair of Fox free throws.
  • Wofford finally got on the board in the half with a 3-pointer of its own to stop the bleeding at 55-39 at the under-16 media timeout.
  • The Terriers led 66-52 after a made free throw at the 7:27 mark but long balls by Fox and Davidson, part of an 8-2 Bulldogs spurt, cut the deficit to just eight, 68-60.
  • Wofford answered with a 3-pointer on the following trip down the court to go along with two makes from the charity stripe to push the margin back to double-digits, 73-61, at the under-4 timeout.
