CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel dropped both games of a doubleheader against Miami (OH), 8-5 and 16-1, on Saturday at Joe Riley Park.

How it Happened
- Dominic Krupinski got the RedHawks on the board with a SAC fly RBI in the first inning.
- Travis Elliott drew a bases-loaded walk, scoring Thomas Rollauer to tie the game at 1-1.
- Miami responded with RBI singles from Ignacio Gonzalez and Ty Batusich to give them the 3-1 lead in the second.
- Thomas Rollauer laid down the SAC bunt, scoring Phillips Daniels to make it a one-run game at 2-3.
- Anthony Hausner singled through the right side for two RBIs, driving in TJ Anderson and Aryan Patel to give the Bulldogs the 4-3 lead in the second inning.
- Rollauer recorded his second RBI of the game with the SAC fly RBI to center field, scoring Daniels to give the Bulldogs the 5-3 lead in the third.
- Miami scored in the top of the sixth with an RBI single down left field to reduce the lead to just 5-4, but TJ Anderson halted the tying run by throwing out the runner at the plate.
- The Bulldogs had the lead in the ninth, but Miami scored on a wild pitch that tied the game at 5-5.
- The RedHawks scored three more runs in the ninth at 8-5, which was enough to take game one from The Citadel.
