How It Happened
- The Citadel scored the first run of the game from a double steal, where Garrett Dill stole second, and Thomas Rollauer stole home to make it 1-0 in the first inning.
- Garrett Fulmer hit an RBI double, scoring Dill from third to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead in the bottom half of the first.
- Phillips Daniels kept things rolling for the Bulldogs as he recorded an RBI single up the middle, which scored Fulmer to make it a three-run first inning.
- The Citadel scored two in the fourth inning from a Thomas Rollauer 2-RBI single to right field, scoring Cole Canty and Daniels to make it 5-0.
- The Bulldogs pulled off another double steal to add another run to the board, with Rollauer stealing second and Travis Elliott stealing home to extend the Bulldogs' lead to six runs.
