SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Travis Elliott, the second baseman for The Citadel, was named to the 2025 Preseason First Team All-Conference. The Southern Conference announced the preseason coaches poll on Thursday afternoon.
 
A native of Lexington, South Carolina, Elliott has been a member of The Citadel baseball program for four years and is entering his fifth season as a graduate student.
 
During the 2023 season, Elliott enjoyed his best season as a Bulldog. He started in all 52 games and recorded a batting average of .282 with 48 hits, 11 doubles, one triple, one home run, and 20 RBIs.
 
The Bulldogs were selected to finish seventh in the preseason coaches poll.
