Noah Cadiz delivered on a pinch-hit RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Bulldogs the 4-3 victory over Kennesaw State on Friday night. The Citadel scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.

How It Happened
- The first run of the game was scored in the third by Travis Elliott, who singled to left field, scoring Aryan Patel.
- Kennesaw State tied the game in the fourth inning by an RBI double down the left field line, scoring one to make it 1-1.
- The Owls scored two runs in the eighth inning with an RBI single to the right side and another RBI single to center, taking a two-run lead at 3-1.
- The Citadel responded in the bottom of the eighth with two runs scored on two errors committed that allowed the Bulldogs to tie the game at 3-3. Maddox Floyd scored on a throwing error committed by the pitcher and Patel scored on a fielding error committed by the left fielder.
- Pinch hitter Noah Cadiz drove in the game-winning run with an RBI single through the right side, scoring Phillips Daniels to give the Bulldogs a 4-3 lead heading into the ninth inning.
- Maddox Webb recorded two ground outs and a strikeout to give the Bulldogs the win at 4-3.
