Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Citadel men's tennis team returned to Southern Conference play on Friday afternoon, falling to the UNCG Spartans 2-5.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORES

• Ted Bagwell / Diego Ladino prevailed at 2-doubles for the second straight match, improving to 3-2 this season.
• Noah Van Dyke won for the second consecutive day at the top singles flight, doubling up his opponent 6-3.
• Freshman Anthony Osipov also proved victorious for the second day in a row, winning a first-set tiebreaker 7-5 before earning an easy 6-2 win in the second set.

COACHES CORNER

• "Give UNCG credit for the win today," said Head Coach Chuck Kriese. "They outplayed us at a couple key positions in an otherwise pretty even match."
• Coach Kriese added "Lots to build on, but we need more reps and I'm hoping that the ones coming next week (doubleheaders on Monday and Tuesday), will give us the confidence we need to finish matches stronger."
