Parham and Ruffin Honored as SoCon Field Athletes of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel's Ali Ruffin and Arthur Parham were honored as the Southern Conference Men's and Women's Field Athletes of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
It is the first time this season that the Bulldogs swept the Field Athlete of the Week honors.
Ali Ruffin has garnered her second SoCon field honor of the season, having been recognized as the SoCon Field Athlete of the Week last week.
The native of Greenville, North Carolina, won her second javelin event of the season with a season-best toss of 145-8 at the Davidson Relays.
Arthur Parham earns his first SoCon honors of his career after winning the javelin at the Davidson Relays with a throw of 205-10.
The Bulldogs will return to action on April 12, competing at the Gamecock Invite in Columbia, South Carolina.
