SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel baseball team claims the No. 3 seed heading into the 2025 Southern Conference Baseball Championship, as announced by the conference office.
 
The Bulldogs claimed the No. 3 seed after taking two out of three games from ETSU with a conference record of 12-9.
 
The Citadel finished the season with a 30-24 record, marking the first time since 2010 that they achieved 30 wins in a season.
 
The last time the Bulldogs were the No. 3 seed was in 2009, when The Citadel finished with a conference record of 20-10.
 
The Citadel will play the winner of the game between No. 6 UNCG and No. 7 Wofford.
