No. 3 Bulldogs Set for 2025 SoCon Tournament

CHARLESTON, S.C. – No. 3 The Citadel will play against No. 7 Wofford in the first round of the 2025 Southern Conference Baseball Tournament, with the first pitch set for 7 pm at Fluor Field.

The Terriers finished the regular season with a 31-15 overall record and an 8-15 record in the SoCon. They earned the No. 7 seed in the 2025 Southern Conference Tournament. SoCon Honors for the Bulldogs
Six Bulldogs received all-conference distinctions, with Maddox Webb standing out for the Bulldogs as a first-team All-Conference selection. TJ Anderson earned a spot on the All-Conference second team. Travis Elliott, Garrett Dill, Phillips Daniels, and Lane Tobin were all named to the defensive team.
 
Rollauer Named SoCon POTW
Thomas Rollauer was honored after leading The Citadel to a 3-1 record, including a midweek victory over Charleston Southern and winning the series against ETSU. He achieved a 5-for-10 performance (.500) with two doubles, seven runs scored, and five RBIs. He recorded a .700 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage, while also stealing four bases. 
 
Series Winners Against ETSU
The Bulldogs won the series against ETSU and had a chance at the regular season title this past weekend. The Citadel secured four SoCon series this season and defeated every team at least once. 
 
No. 3 Seed
The last time the Bulldogs held the No. 3 seed was in 2009, when The Citadel recorded a conference record of 20-10. The Citadel finished the season with a 30-24 record, marking the first time since 2010 that they achieved 30 wins.
