Hausner Homers in Series Opener Against Western Carolina

CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Anthony Hausner hit a three-run home run in an 11-4 loss against Western Carolina on Friday night.

How It Happened
  • Western Carolina scored the game's first runs in the opening inning with two RBI singles, taking a 2-0 lead.
  • The Catamounts jumped to a 3-0 lead in the third inning with an RBI single from Wyatt Stanley.
  • Western Carolina scored two runs in the fourth inning and two more in the sixth, including two home runs and an RBI single.
  • The Bulldogs scored in the seventh inning with a Matthew Lively RBI single to right field, bringing Lane Tobin home to make it 7-1.
  • The Catamounts added two runs in the bottom of the seventh to increase their lead to 9-1.
