SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference announced the men's basketball conference schedule for the 2025-26 season, solidifying an 18-game slate for the The Citadel running from Dec. 31 through Feb. 28.
The Bulldogs open up the year with a pair of home contests, battling ETSU on Wednesday, Dec. 31 before hosting in-state adversary Wofford on Saturday, Jan. 3. Of the next four matchups, three feature The Citadel on the road, including a Wednesday, Jan. 7 clash at Mercer, a Thursday, Jan. 15 game at UNCG and a Saturday, Jan. 17 contest against rival VMI.
Of particular note, the month of February opens with a trio of away games at Samford, Chattanooga and Western Carolina, respectively, before turning around for a final home three-game stretch, initially facing Mercer on Valentine's Day before hosting Samford on Thursday, Feb. 19 and finally Chattanooga on Saturday, Feb. 21.
