"I am very proud of our student-athletes this fall," Jake Lehr, the Assistant Academics Director for Athletic Programs, said. "Their hard work paid off in the form of the highest departmental GPA I have seen in my time at The Citadel, and a record number of cadets who earned 4.0s and Gold Stars. This is a remarkable group who is sure to continue performing to their best potential."

From a sport-specific perspective, every program at The Citadel concluded the six-month period with a team GPA 3.0 or better.
