Thomas Snipes (165 lbs) along with quick pin courtesy of
Kyrel Leavell (157 lbs), The Citadel (6-6, 2-0 SoCon) managed to maintain the program's perfect record in league play against visiting Presbyterian (0-11, 0-5 SoCon) behind individual victories across nine of 10 bouts, overwhelming the Blue Hose via a decisive 46-5 mark Thursday evening in McAlister Field House.
Next up, the Bulldogs brace for a four-event roadtrip through Appalachia, initially heading to Boone, N.C., for the Appalachian Open on Saturday, Jan. 24 before facing a trio of SoCon opponents -- Chattanooga (Saturday, Jan. 31), Gardner-Webb (Friday, Feb. 6) and Appalachian State (Sunday, Feb. 8) -- in quick succession to open the final month of regular-season competition.
