Baseball Preview: at #21 Florida State

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel baseball team (4-2) is set for an away three-game series against the #21 Florida State Seminoles (5-2) from February 27 to March 1. The first pitch on Friday is at noon, with Saturday and Sunday both starting at 1 pm.

Bulldogs Sweep the Weekend
The Bulldogs swept this past weekend with two wins over Marshall and a commanding 14-8 victory against Army. Zach Hunt led the offense for The Citadel, hitting two home runs. Will Holmes was a dominant presence on the mound, striking out a career-high nine batters in 5.2 innings. Riley Ballard, in his first career start, earned the win against Army.
 
On Deck
The Citadel returns to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park for a midweek game against Georgia Southern on March 4, with the first pitch scheduled for 6 pm.
