CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel's mixed rifle and women's team is scheduled to compete at the 2026 Southern Conference Rifle Championships on Feb. 6-7 in Statesboro, GA, hosted by Georgia Southern.

The Bulldogs will compete in the Smallbore on Feb. 6 and then in the Air Rifle on Feb. 7.
 
Braden Michalak has been the top performer in several matches for The Citadel, finishing tenth overall against Georgia Southern and Air Force. Michalak was the top individual against UAB, ending with a score of 4,573.
 
Ella Derrick continues to perform for The Citadel women's team, as she finished fourth overall on Jan. 13 and Jan. 14 against Jacksonville State. She finished sixth overall against UAB and Wofford.
