SUMTER, S.C. – The Citadel men's tennis team gained valuable early-season competition against USC–Sumter at the USC–Sumter Winter Classic during supplemental round-robin play Feb. 6–7.

Doubles Play
The Bulldogs turned in a strong performance in doubles action, earning victories across all three pairings against USC–Sumter opponents.
The top pairing of
Ted Bagwell and
Brady Gober collected two wins, defeating Turgat/Carlye, 8–2, and Limradon/Gienez, 8–1.
Noah Van Dyke and
Reece Beckendorf added an 8–4 victory over Harada/Gimenez, while
Tucker Hendrix and
Nick Stroumpis posted a pair of wins with 8–1 and 8–6 decisions.
Singles Play
The Citadel continued its success in singles competition, recording multiple victories across the lineup.
Noah Van Dyke earned two singles wins against USC–Sumter opponents, including a straight-set result and a tiebreak victory.
Brady Gober added a decisive 6–2, 6–1 win, while
Ted Bagwell posted two singles victories, highlighted by a 6–0, 6–0 performance.
Additional singles wins were recorded by
Nick Stroumpis,
Reece Beckendorf,
Tucker Hendrix, and
Graham Hardin, rounding out a strong showing at the Winter Classic for the Bulldogs.
