The Bulldogs and the Chanticleers have played 81 times on the field, with Coastal Carolina leading the all-time series at 46-35. In the last meeting between the two programs, Coastal Carolina defeated The Citadel via a 9-6 margin in 2017.

The No. 14 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers are 20-7 overall and 9-0 in the Sun Belt. The Chanticleers head into the game against The Citadel bolstered by a seven-game winning streak headlined by a sweep of Marshall this past weekend. Coastal Carolina is batting .268 as a team with 231 hits, 46 doubles, three triples, 29 home runs, and 196 RBIs.

Bulldogs Take the Series
The Citadel secured the team's first conference series victory over Western Carolina this past weekend. The Bulldogs won the first game courtesy of a walk-off single by TJ Anderson, and followed up with a 13-run showing in the second game to clinch the series.
 
Mr. Clutch
TJ Anderson hit the second walk-off of his career against Western Carolina on Friday, March 27. Previously, he also posted a walk-off hit against Mercer last season to launch home conference play.
 
On Deck
The Citadel hosts Longwood for a three-game weekend series from April 2-4.
