"A disappointing ending to a good college baseball game. We just were on the wrong side of it. Got to give them credit. They don't ever quit. They are used to winning," said head coach
Russell Triplett. "We just made a few too many mistakes at the end of the game, and it cost us. But our guys competed, played hard, and we just didn't play clean enough late to win against a good team."
Up next, the Bulldogs host Longwood at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park for a three-game series from April 2-4.
