ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Spearheaded by three total advancements into the Championship Finals courtesy of Carson DesRosier (149 lbs), Kyrel Leavell (157 lbs) and Jacob Silka (174 lbs), The Citadel (11-7, 7-1 SoCon) posted a competitive opening sequence at the 2026 Southern Conference Championship, closing out the first day on the mat boasting a total 47.5 points -- good for fourth on the team leaderboard -- as the Bulldogs angle for program's third-ever league tournament title heading into Saturday at Kimmel Arena.
