JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — An eight-run seventh inning erased a 7-1 Buccaneers lead, as The Citadel (18-19, 4-6 SoCon) rallied to win 11–8 over East Tennessee State University (23-12, 6-4 SoCon) at Thomas Stadium Friday night.

Will Holmes took the mound for the Bulldogs and pitched 5.0 innings, allowing nine hits and seven earned runs while striking out four batters.
Andrew Bowers relieved Holmes and pitched 2.2 innings, allowing three hits and one earned run while striking out three without issuing a walk, earning his second win of the season.

For the Buccaneers, Jamie Palmese went 3-for-5 with two RBIs, and Stratton Scott took the loss after facing five batters, allowing four hits, three earned runs, and walking one.
