CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel (18-21, 4-8 SoCon) travels to Statesboro, Ga., to face the Georgia Southern Eagles (12-27, 2-8 Sun Belt) for a midweek game on Wednesdayl, April 22 at J.I. Clements Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.

Bulldogs Comeback
The Citadel erased a six-run deficit against ETSU on Friday, April 17 when the Bulldogs scored eight runs in the seventh inning to beat the Buccaneers, 11-8, good for the largest come-from-behind victory since 2024 when the Bulldogs overcame an eight-run deficit against UMass on March 16.
 
J-Will Goes Deep
Jayden Williams hit his first home run of the season, a solo shot, against ETSU on April 17. Williams is tied with Christian Stratis for the team lead in batting average at .299 and paces the team with 15 stolen bases.
 
Big Innings for The Citadel
The Citadel has managed to compose multiple 'big innings' during the season, including a program-record 14-run frame against UT-Martin on March 14, a 10-run inning against Charleston Southern on April 7, and an eight-run inning against ETSU on April 17.
 
On Deck
The Bulldogs host the UNCG Spartans for a three-game home series on April 24-26.
