Bulldogs' Starters Set the Tone
The Citadel's starting rotation of Will Holmes, Andrew Buffkin, and Trip Brown set the tone this past weekend, combining for 22.0 innings, allowing 11 hits, three earned runs, and 26 strikeouts.
 
Will Holmes set a career-high with 12 strikeouts. Andrew Buffkin threw his first career complete-game shutout, and the first since 2019 for The Citadel. Trip Brown tossed a career-high 7.0 innings and struck out a career-best eight batters.
 
Bulldogs Running Wild
After this past weekend, the Bulldogs rank second in the SoCon with 122 stolen bases, the most since 2010 when The Citadel swiped 127 bags. Jayden Williams leads the Bulldogs with 26 stolen bases, which ranks second in the SoCon and just two behind the leader at 28.
 
Hit By Pitch? Just Another Day for Tobin
Lane Tobin broke the single-season program record for most hits by pitch with 23. He surpassed Bo Thompson's record of 22, set in the 2014 campaign. Phillips Daniels also ranks third on the list with 20, last set in 2025.
