Biography

ON BICE: Will return as a second-year member of a very experienced offensive line corps that includes four fifth-year players.

JUNIOR (2012): Started in all 11 games at left tackle … made 33 knockdown blocks, recording a season-high five in a win vs. Elon.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in six games as a reserve right tackle ... made 14 knockdown blocks with five coming vs. Western Carolina.

FRESHMAN (2010): Saw action in three games during his redshirt freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Holmes County High School ... lettered three times in football and twice in basketball and baseball ... served as a team captain ... named team's best receiver, defensive lineman and linebacker during the course of his career. 

PERSONAL: Son of Sonja Powell ... majoring in physical education - teaching.
