Biography

ON STRANGE: Fifth-year senior and two-year starter who has worked hard in the offseason in order to retain his job ... came to The Citadel as a tight end before moving to the line and has started 21 games at left tackle the past two seasons ... team's biggest offensive lineman and a smart player who understands his assignments.

JUNIOR (2011): Played and started in 10 games at left tackle ... made 36 knockdown blocks on the year with seven coming vs. Chattanooga and six vs. Appalachian State.

SOPHOMORE (2010): Played and started in all 11 games.

FRESHMAN (2009): Saw action in four games as a redshirt freshman, including three of the final five games of the season. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Irmo High School ... lettered three times in football and four times in baseball ... selected to all-region team his junior and senior seasons and to the all-area team following his senior campaign when he also received the Coach's Award ... as a tight end caught 11 passes for 241 yards and five touchdowns as a senior ... member of 2006 team which finished as the state runners-up.

PERSONAL: Born July 21, 1990 in Lexington, S.C. ... son of Freddie and Karen Strange ... majoring in pre-law.
