BEFORE THE CITADEL: Played two-plus seasons at Liberty…appeared in two games in 2020…allowed just one hit and struck out one over 2.2 innings…went 2-0 with a 4.32 ERA in 17 relief appearances in 2019…struck out 31 in 33.0 innings…tossed a scoreless inning to pick up the win against Duke…threw 5.0 innings of relief to earn the victory over Stetson in the conference tournament…went 1-0 in 12 appearances as a freshman…earned first collegiate victory in two innings of relief against VCU…member of the A-Sun Honor Roll in 2019 and Big South Presidential Honor Roll in 2018.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time all-conference selection at Colonial Forge High School…earned All-Conference 4 First Team and 6A South Region team honors as a senior…earned all-state, all-region and all-conference honors as a second baseman as a junior…named a Perfect Game Atlantic Region All-American in 2016…three-time Free Lance Star All-Area team.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Byron and Katy Barker…ancestors were navigators on Columbus’ voyage…graduated with a degree in business administration: finance…working on master’s in finance.
