Animals (Service Animals)
Only service dogs or service dogs in training for guests with disabilities are permitted inside Johnson Hagood Stadium. Any other type of animal is not permitted. The service dog should be wearing identifiable attire and be harnessed or tethered in some fashion. All service dogs must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times.
Handicapped Parking
Single-game parking for persons with disabilities is available in our MUSC Parking Lot on Fishburne Avenue for $15. We have golf cart shuttles to the stadium available free of charge. Season permits for disabled parking in booster lots B,C, and P. A state approved handicapped permit is necessary and you must pay the appropriate parking fee.
Drop Off Locations for Disable Patrons
Approved drop off locations available on game day for disabled patrons is located on Hagood Avenue up to two (2) hours prior to kick-off. After that, drop off will be at the corner of Hagood and Fishburne.
Mobility Impaired Entrances
Gates 1 and 10 are disabled accessible. These entrances are located closest to our ramps into the seating area.
Mobility Impaired Seating and Wheelchair Seating
Wheelchair seating is available on both the East and West stands in reserved and general admission sections. Please let the ticket office staff know that you require wheelchair accessible seating when placing your ticket order.
West Side Stands- Section A through J row WC (rows closest to the field)

The First Aid Station is under the West Side Stands at the 50 yard line (Section G)
Football Tickets
Gameday Accessible Seating Exchanges:
Patrons who need to exchange tickets for accessible seating may do so at the Ticket Office starting at 9 a.m. the Monday before each home game up until 5 p.m. on Friday the day before the game. Then when the ticket office opens on gameday at JHS until game time. Exchange inventory is limited.
Single Game Accessible Seating Sales: Patrons who would like to purchase accessible seating for any home football game may do so by calling the Ticket Office at 843-953-3647. Seating is based on availability.
Accessible Seating Season Tickets: Season ticket accessible seating is located on the West Side of the stadium. We have Seats available in Sections A through J.
Additional Ticket Information
If you are having any ticket trouble we have ticket offices at the Northwest and Southwest corners of the stadium. We will be able to help you with loading your ticket or resending your tickets to your mobile device.
Wrist banding and ID check will now happen at the point of sale.
You must present your ID in order to purchase alcohol. No exceptions will be made.
Alcohol sales end at the conclusion of the 3rd quarter.
Due to state mandate, vertical ids will not be accepted for purchases of alcohol.
The Altman Athletic Center, located in the south end zone, opens 90 minutes before kickoff. In order to access the Altman Center, guests must have an Altman Center pass and a valid game ticket.
Please note, all fans are subject to wanding/magnetometers upon entry to JHS.
CLOSURES-HAGOOD AVENUE
Hagood Avenue closes to traffic at least one hour before kickoff between Congress and Fishburne streets.
Hagood Avenue closes between The Citadel's campus and Congress Street half an hour before kickoff for the Cadets' march to the stadium. Please plan accordingly.

Gates open 90 minutes prior to kick-off. {The Pearson Club Level & Executive Suites open two hours prior to kick-off through the Ousley Family Entrance.}

REFUNDS/EXCHANGES
The Citadel Department of Athletics has a no refund/no exchanges policy.
Baby changing stations are located in men's and women's restrooms in the West Concourse of Johnson Hagood Stadium. A family restroom is located in the center of the main concourse, near guest services.
The Citadel Bookstore operates souvenir stands at the stadium on game days. It is located on the plaza outside of Gate 1.
The plaza stand opens 2.5 hours before kickoff.
The Citadel Bookstore, located in Mark Clark Hall, will also be open on game days from 8 am until 4 pm or when the stadium gates open, whichever is later.
Access to the Landing Zone includes near field-level seating, as well as catered amenities such as food and drink in the Altman Center.
To qualify for seating here, fans must be members of The Citadel Brigadier Foundation at the $4,000 level.

Radio: Listen to The Citadel Football games on 102.1 FM The City Pregame coverage begins three hours before kickoff and continues for one hour after the final gun.
Everyone over the age of 2 requires a ticket for entry to ticketed events.
Watch the South Carolina Corps of Cadets before each home game as they enter Sansom Field at Johnson Hagood Stadium to start pregame festivities.
The Corps of Cadets marches onto the field 21 minutes before kickoff, so make sure you're in the stadium early!
Video and still cameras are allowed. Pictures must be taken from the patron's seat and may not block aisles and walkways.
Field access is limited to credentialed photographers only.
Photos taken on The Citadel's campus and Johnson Hagood Stadium may not be sold or reproduced for commercial purposes unless approved by The Citadel's licensing agent.
The Citadel has implemented a clear bag policy at all events inside Johnson Hagood Stadium.

Approved bags include:
- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" –A logo no larger than 4.5" x 3.4" can be displayed on one side of a permissible clear bag,
- Gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar),
- Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" –approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap,
- Medically necessary items (after proper inspection), and diaper bags (after proper inspection) will be permitted for families with infants and toddlers. The child must be present.
Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to:
- Purses larger than a clutch bag Briefcases Backpacks Fanny Packs Cinch/Drawstring Bags Luggage of any kind
- Computer Bags Binocular Cases Camera Bags
- Non-approved seat cushions, which include large traditional seat cushions that have pockets, zippers, compartments or covers
- Chairs

We believe that all student-athletes, coaches and spectators should strive to represent the very best spirit and tradition of college athletics.
We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner at all times.
Those in attendance should report any act that goes against this policy to game management or security personnel immediately.
Any protest, demonstration, or gathering occurring outside of Johnson Hagood Stadium is restricted to Harmon Field, located at the corner of Hagood Avenue and Fishburne Street.
Any protest, demonstration, or gathering occurring at McAlister Field House is restricted to Summerall Field, located at the corner of Jenkins Avenue and Jones Avenue.
Citadel Public Safety will direct and relocate demonstration participants to these respective designated zones, if necessary.
The South Carolina Corps of Cadets conducts a Military Dress Parade most Friday afternoons during the Fall.
For times, consult the parade schedule on the school's website.
Prior to Homecoming and Parents' Day games, the Corps conducts Saturday Dress Parades at 11 a.m. on Summerall Field.
Family and fans of The Citadel are also invited to tour The Citadel's barracks between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on both Saturdays.
These events are free and open to the public.
The Citadel Department of Athletics offers fans choices to receive official updates and news.
A first aid station manned by paramedics is available to guests. It is located in the Southwest corner of the stadium near the Altman Center.
In case of an emergency, please notify your nearest stadium official.
If a situation arises which requires evacuation of Johnson Hagood Stadium, we request your cooperation and assistance in exiting the facility in an orderly manner. For your safety, law enforcement and game day security staff are positioned in and around the stadium. Listen to the public address system and watch the video board for information about weather, emergency evacuations and other emergency information.
Once an evacuation announcement has been given, please proceed to the nearest stairway or exit. Outside the stadium, follow the directions of event staff and do not attempt to re-enter the stadium. Listen to 102.1 FM The City or follow @CitadelSports or @CitadelFootball on Twitter for more information.
Game programs will be digital only starting in the fall of 2024.
QR Codes will be placed around the stadium for fans to scan.
The Guest Services Table is located on the West Concourse below Section G.
It serves as the game day lost and found, and is also where fans can claim prizes won during in-game promotions and contests.
In the event of inclement weather approaching Johnson Hagood Stadium, public address and video board announcements will be made to up date fans.
Should lighting strike within close proximity of the stadium, play will be suspended immediately.
Play will resume 30 minutes after the last lighting strike occurs within the radius of the stadium.
Fans will be required to exit the seating areas and seek shelter.
All ticket stubs should be kept for re-entry after the weather threat has cleared.
Updates may also be communicated via Radio, Citadelsports.com as well as on Twitter at @Citadelsports.
Items lost or found inside of the stadium may be identified at the Guest Services table on game days or at Public Safety during the week.
The Citadel's Public Safety Office also operates a campus lost and found.
They are located at 208 Richardson Avenue and can be reached by phone at (843) 953-5114.
In the event of a lost child, please contact the guest services area on the west stand concourse.
You may also seek out an event staff member or police for assistance.
For the safety of spectators, like many pro and college athletic venues, Johnson Hagood Stadium includes the use of metal detectors at all entrances.
- Fans should allow extra time to enter the stadium and arrive earlier than normal.
- Fans will be asked to take out phones and keys. (See prohibited items for a complete list)
- Clear bags are required for entry. (See section above for complete info)

Tailgating is permitted for all cars in the parking lot areas, however you must not interfere with adjacent parking spaces or thoroughfares.
We ask that everyone be considerate of your neighbors and keep all alcoholic beverages in the parking area.
Alcohol consumption must end two hours after the conclusion of the game.
Alcohol is not permitted in the Police Department or Brittlebank Park lots.
PARKING
There is adequate parking within a few minutes' walk from Johnson Hagood Stadium.
We urge everyone to join The Citadel Brigadier Foundation which has parking available based on the level of contributions.
Gameday parking in the MUSC lot now accepts prepaid parking passes, cash and credit card payment (cc processing fees apply).

Located on the 4th Floor on the West Side of JHS, the Pearson Club Level offers 470 partially covered padded outdoor seats, access to a large indoor hospitality area with flat-screen televisions, private restrooms, a catered meal (included in cost), and access to purchase alcoholic and other beverages at two private bars.
Opens 2 hours prior to kickoff.
Located on the 5th and 6th Floors on the West Side of JHS, Executive Suites have 16 Seats – 12 outdoor covered and padded seats and 4 indoor bar seats, an entertainment area with a flat-screen television, leather couches, and chairs, a refrigerator for beverage storage, bar space for catered food, and cabinet space for storage of personal items.
Opens 2 hours prior to kickoff.
The Altman Athletic Center End Zone Building is available to all General’s Club ($4,000) and above members with a pass and gameday ticket.
Amenities include access to a large indoor hospitality area as well as the outdoor balcony overlooking Sansom Field. Flat-screen televisions, private restrooms, a catered meal (included in cost), and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the private indoor bar.

Recruits and High School Coaches should contact the Citadel Football office to request complimentary tickets in advance by visiting this webpage or by calling the football office at (843) 953-5123 by noon on Friday before each game.
Recruits may enter through Gate 8 starting two hours before kick-off.
High School coaches can pick up their tickets at Gate 8 starting 90 minutes before kick-off.
Per NCAA regulations, all persons receiving complimentary admission must present a photo ID.
The Citadel encourages everyone to think green and recycle in the stadium and at your tailgate.
Recycling containers, provided by Pepsi can be found throughout the stadium.

TCBF has implemented roaming golf carts that can be found around the tailgate lots that provide transportation to the stadium for those that need assistance.
The Citadel is a tobacco and vape free campus. This policy prohibits the use of any tobacco or vape products on campus grounds, including parking areas, lawns and sidewalks.
All forms of tobacco including, but not limited to, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff and chewing tobacco, are not allowed and is prohibited in Club, Suite, Altman Center, in the seating bowl, on the concourse and in restrooms.
Solicitation or distribution of materials by persons not pre-approved by The Citadel Athletics Marketing Office is prohibited.
Banners, flyers, pamphlets, or any other paraphernalia will be disposed of by game day security, and solicitors will be escorted off the premises.
The selling of any item by anyone other than The Citadel authorized personnel, including in parking lots, is prohibited.

Illegally parked cars will be towed by Jennings Towing at 2026 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC. Their phone number is (843) 554-6385. Vehicle pick up cost could exceed $100. at the owner’s expense. If you need assistance, or someone is parked in your space, do not park in another space. Contact the nearest parking attendant.
