JUNIOR (2013): Began the season as a designated hitter and third baseman but moved to first base when Bo Thompson injured an ankle against VCU early in the season … took advantage of the opportunity and turned in outstanding junior year … was particularly hot in SoCon games, batting .331 with all seven of his home runs and 21 of his 33 RBIs in conference contests … named second team All-SoCon by the media … produced the game-winning single in the ninth to cap a 5-4 come-from-behind win over Western Carolina (3/30) … homered on the first pitch of the bottom of the seventh to snap a 2-2 tie and send The Citadel on its way to a 6-3 win over Appalachian State (4/19) … had the longest hitting streak of the season for a Bulldog with a 14-game run from 4/14 through 5/10 during which he went 27-58 (.466) and raised his average from .272 to a season-high .337 … blasted two home runs including a grand slam and drove in five runs in the opening game of the series at Georgia Southern (4/12) … began his hitting streak two days later when he hit his third homer against the Eagles and drove in three more runs … the three home runs in the series matched his career total entering the weekend … came up a home run shy of the cycle twice in an 11-day span … went 4-4 with a double and triple against Charleston Southern (4/23) and had a career-high five hits including two doubles, a triple, three runs scored and three RBI against Davidson (5/3).
SOPHOMORE (2012): Played in 48 games with 29 starts including 28 at first base and one at third base … batted .264 (29-110) with four doubles, a home run, nine runs scored and 11 RBI … had a .291 batting average (16-55) in Southern Conference games … went 3-3 with an RBI against North Florida (5/2) and had six other two-hit outings … had two hits, including a double, scored a run and drove one in against Delaware (2/25) and Appalachian State (3/18) … hit his first career home run against Samford (4/6).
FRESHMAN (2011): Played in 36 games and made 24 starts between shortstop and designated hitter … batted .234 (18-77) with three doubles, six runs scored and 13 RBI … stole two bases in as many attempts … went 3-5 with two runs and two RBI against Towson (2/19) … had three hits including a double and drove in two runs against Charleston Southern (4/19) … had back-to-back two-hit games against Presbyterian (4/30 and 5/1) … put together a six-game hitting streak.
HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Episcopal High School … lettered three times in baseball, twice in basketball and once in football … batted .421 as a senior and set the school all-time hits record … named to the All-First Coast second team and was selected school’s Best All-Around Athlete.
