JUNIOR (2013): Got off to a hot start with 16 hits in his first 37 at bats (.432) with seven extra base hits and 14 runs scored … knocked out three hits with a home run and scored three times against Pitt (3/1) and had a career-high four hits, scored three runs and brought in three two days later against UNC Asheville … drove in the winning run with a sixth inning single in the win over the Bulldogs … those games were part of a stretch that saw him go 9-14 with two doubles, a triple, a home run, eight runs scored and five RBI en route to SoCon Player of the Week honors … hit a three-run homer and drove in four runs against Samford (3/8) … tripled in two runs and scored in the seventh to bring the Bulldogs within 6-5 of South Carolina (3/19) before the Gamecocks held on … hit his first career grand slam and drove in a career-high five runs against Davidson (5/4) … tripled in three runs in the third to give The Citadel a 4-1 lead en route to a win over Appalachian State in the opening round of the SoCon tournament (5/22) … his five triples on the year ties him for seventh on the school’s single-season list while his 15 hit by pitches are tied for third.
SOPHOMORE (2012): Played in 54 games and started 44 times including 43 at third base … batted .258 (39-151) and tied for second on the team with 12 doubles … scored 24 runs and drove in 10, walked 14 times and was hit by pitch on a team-high 13 occasions, tying for third in the SoCon in the latter category … stole two bases in three attempts … had seven multiple hit games … had three hits including a pair of doubles and scored three runs against Delaware (2/25) and went 3-3 with a double against Coastal Carolina (4/11) … had an eight-game hitting streak running from Columbia (3/4) through Appalachian State (3/16) … opened the season with a six-game hitting streak that including three contests with two or more hits … had two hits and scored a run in victory over College of Charleston in opening game of Southern Conference tournament (5/23).
