CAREER (entering 2015 season): Has appeared in 53 games with 18 starts over the past three seasons … owns a record of 12-7 with an ERA of 4.00 … in 144.0 innings has allowed 149 hits and 79 runs (64 earned) … walked 45 and struck out 112 … received a medical redshirt for the 2014 season after missing the final half of the season with an elbow injury.

JUNIOR (2014): Worked in seven games, the last against Elon (3/30) before sitting out the rest of the season … finished with a record of 3-2 and an ERA of 3.40, allowing 38 hits and 22 runs (15 earned) with 10 walks and 36 strikeouts in 39.2 innings … earned wins in two of his first three starts … went six shutout innings, allowing only two hits in a win over Virginia Tech (2/14) and was the winner against Nebraska (3/1), blanking the Huskers over the first five innings … turned in a dominating performance in a no-decision against Davidson in the SoCon opener (3/15) … went 8.1 innings and struck out 15, allowing five hits, one walk and one run … fanned at least one batter in eight of nine innings including two frames with three punch outs … it was the first time a Bulldog had a double-figure strikeout game since Austin Pritcher had 13 against Appalachian State on 3/4/11 and the most since Asher Wojciechowski had 15 against Elon on 5/23/09 …  followed up that performance with six innings in a win over Samford (3/22), striking out seven without a walk and surrendering two runs, none after the first.

SOPHOMORE (2013): Appeared in 24 games with six starts, going 3-1 with an ERA of 4.01 … allowed 56 hits and 28 runs (23 earned) in 51.2 innings, walking 12 and striking out 42 … first five appearances were as the Saturday starter before working out of the bullpen in all but one game the rest of the year … was particularly effective in SoCon games, allowing only 27 hits and nine earned runs (2.53 ERA), walking six and striking out 27 in 32.0 innings while allowing an opponent batting average of just .235 … gained a victory over Kansas State in his first start of the season (2/16), allowing two earned runs with no walks and four strikeouts in five innings … credited with the win in relief against Appalachian State in the semifinals of the SoCon Tournament (5/25), working 1.2 innings and giving up two hits and no runs … tossed 5.2 innings and gave up four hits and no runs without walking a batter and striking out four in a no-decision in a late-season start against UNCG (5/18) … threw two shutout innings with two strikeouts against Elon (4/5) and came back two days later to match his season high with five strikeouts in three innings against the Phoenix … had a two-inning stint in which he allowed two hits and no runs with three strikeouts against College of Charleston (5/12).

FRESHMAN (2012): Appeared in 22 games with five starts and posted a record of 6-4 with an ERA of 4.44 … allowed 55 hits and 29 runs (26 earned) … tied for the team lead in wins and tied for fourth with 34 strikeouts in 52.2 innings … earned victories in each of his first three appearances against Richmond (2/18), Delaware (2/25) and Columbia (3/3), the latter two coming in a starting role … allowed three hits and struck out four in six scoreless innings in the win over Columbia … his next three wins came as a relief pitcher … worked two innings vs. Winthrop (3/14) without allowing a hit or run and fanning two … gained SoCon wins over UNCG (4/14) with 1.2 shutout frames and Georgia Southern (4/29) … worked 2.2 innings and gave up one hit and no runs with three strikeouts against Furman (5/13).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Ashley Ridge High School … lettered twice in baseball … recorded 60 strikeouts and worked to an ERA of 2.40 in his two seasons.

PERSONAL: James Earle Reeves ... born June 7, 1993 ... son of Jimmy and Jan Reeves … graduated with a degree in political science in December 2014 and is working on his master's degree in leadership.
