REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2016): Made first appearance of the season behind the plate on April 5 at Charleston Southern … pinch hit against Western Carolina on April 23 and at No. 10 South Carolina on May 17, drawing a walk both times.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of North Point High School … named to all-county, all-district and all-conference first team as well as a Perfect Game honorable mention All-American and Under Armor All-American following his junior and senior seasons … member of Team Maryland which won the Heartland Classic championship at the University of Oklahoma last summer … selected to play in the Brooks Robinson Senior All-Star game and Crabfest All-American game … chosen second team all-county his sophomore campaign and team’s defensive MVP as a senior … played on Richmond Braves national showcase team that was ranked No. 19 in the nation in 2013 … received the President’s Award for Educational Excellence and the Yale Science/Engineering Award.
