FRESHMAN (2013): On roster but did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Pinewood Prep … named all-region and all-state and received the team’s Offensive Award his senior season … selected Class 3A co-player of the year and selected to participate in the SCISA North/South All-Star game … helped lead Pinewood Prep to state title and was coached there by Phil Tobin, a member of The Citadel’s 1990 College World Series team … won team’s batting title his junior year … received academic letter and was member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Son of Erik and Susan Hansen … father was a pitcher at BYU … majoring in business administration.
