2020: Appeared in five games, making three starts…went 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA…struck out three over three innings of relief to earn the victory against Coppin State…allowed one run and struck out four over 4.0 innings to earn the victory over Charleston Southern…gave up one run over 5.0 innings in a no decision against USC Upstate.

2019: Appeared in 19 games, making two starts...went 0-2 with a 7.18 ERA...struck out 27 over 26.1 innings...tossed back-to-back shutout innings in final two games of Charleston Southern series...allowed just one hit over 2.2 shutout innings at South Carolina...gave up one unearned run and struck out season-high five over 4.0 innings in first start at Georgia Southern...fanned three over 2.0 shutout innings against ETSU.

2018: Appeared in 12 games, all in relief…went 0-1 with 14 strikeouts over 13.0 innings…struck out three over 2.1 scoreless innings against La Salle…also recorded three strikeouts against Winthrop and Furman.

2017: Made three appearances as a freshman… Made first career start at Georgia Southern (3/22), notching eight strikeouts and allowed one earned run in 3.2 innings of work in a 1-0 loss…Recorded two strikeouts against Virginia (2/18)…Worked 1.1 innings at South Carolina (3/28).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Port St. Lucie High School … participated in baseball, cross country, bowling and golf … earned 2015 first-team all-area honors junior year as well as USA Today High School Athlete Performance of the Week in March of 2015 … part of the principals honor roll all four years of high school.
 
PERSONAL: Zachary Michael Taglieri … born Oct. 19, 1997 … son of Paul and Laurie Taglieri … uncle, Marc Taglieri, played baseball at the University of Virginia from 1991-1995 and father, Paul, is Director of Florida Operations for New York Mets … majoring in business administration.
