2024: Served as the team's primary kicker throughout the season...finished the year a competitive 14-of-25 (.560) on field goals...also notched a solid 28-of-29 on extra points...logged a season-long 49-yarder against local rival Charleston Southern in the campaign opener...knocked home a 48-yarder against both Furman and at VMI as well...wrapped up the regular season ranked fourth in the SoCon with 1.17 field goals per game...concluded the year with 25 touchbacks on kickoffs.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Greg Dennison at Buckeye High School…named Division III First-Team All-Ohio linebacker by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters as a senior…finished the year with 102 tackles, including 26 tackles-for-loss…added 1,320 rushing yards…connected on six field goals…selected as the District Defensive Player of the Year…first-team all-conference selection at running back, linebacker and kicker.
PERSONAL: Son of Jeff and Shannon Barnes…sister, Sophie, played soccer at Bowling Green, while sister, Norah, played soccer at Notre Dame College…plans to major in construction engineering.
