Greg Dixon joined The Citadel Football staff as a Defensive Assistant in Spring 2024, specializing primarily in defensive line. He adjusted his role to bandits in Spring 2025 and added player personnel responsibilities as well.
Previously, Dixon worked as an assistant coach at Erskine College for one season, primarily handling running backs. Prior to returning to football, he served for two decades in the field as both a U.S. Marine (2003-07) and private military contractor (2011-2024).
Dixon earned his bachelor's from Thomas Moore University in 2010, competing as a four-year letterman for the Saints' football program. Notably, he also completed his graduate degree from The Citadel in 2018.
