BEFORE THE CITADEL: Played one season of football at Appalachian State before transferring to Hudson Valley Community College.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterman at Northern Guilford High School … Helped lead NGHS to back-to-back state championships final two seasons … Named all-conference and all-area as senior after Northern Guilford won second consecutive NCHSAA 3AA state championship with 14-1 overall record … Earned all-conference recognition as junior, helping Nighthawks to school's first state title and 14-2 overall mark.
