Biography

SENIOR (2014-15): Ended his career tied with Gary Daniels for sixth-most points (1,399) in school history … was one of only six players in program history to eclipse the 30-point plateau on three occasions as he finished with 35 against Davidson (Feb. 17, 2014), 32 vs. UNCG (Feb. 7, 2015) and 30 vs. UVA-Wise (Jan. 2, 2012) … made the 1,198 field goal attempts in his career, third most in school history … became the sixth different Bulldog to hit 200 3-pointers in their career and leaves in sixth place with 207 treys … made 542 3-point attempts, sixth most in school history … logged 3,497 minutes over the course of his four seasons, sixth most by any Bulldog … departs with the seventh-most assists (321) in Bulldog history …his 541 points in the 2014-15 season marked the eighth most in program history as he became the eight different Bulldog with 500 points in a single season … knocked down 79 3-pointers over the course of his senior season and tied Austin Dahn’s 2007-08 mark for fourth most treys in a single-season … drew several postseason accolades including second team All-SoCon by College Sports Madness, CoSIDA Academic All-District team, second team NABC District 22, Senior CLASS Award (top 30 finalist), Southern Conference All-Conference by both media (first team) and coaches as well as a nomination for SoCon Male Athlete of the Year … closed out the 2014-15 season ranked third against league opponents in scoring (18.4 ppg) after hitting 101 field goals, 44 3-point FGs and 86 free throws en route to 332 points … handed out the fourth-most assists (74) of any guard in the SoCon in 2014-15 … posted the second highest free throw percentage against league opposition after hitting 86-of-97 (.887) … joined teammate Jake Wright among the best 3-point shooters in the conference as he finished with the fifth best 3-point field goal percentage (.404) after hitting 44-of-109 from beyond the arc against league foes … led the league, for the second straight season, in minutes played (690) as he averaged 38.3 mpg … closed the season with the 49th best point per game average (18.0) in the nation, highest of any Citadel player since 2000-01 … was 38th among all NCAA players in free throw percentage after converting .859 from the line … led the team in 13 major statistical categories including minutes played (1,129), field goals made (173), 3-point field goals made (79), free throws made (116), assists (109), steals (29), points (541) and points per game (18.0) … eclipsed the 20-point mark on 12 occasions during the season, including a season-high 32 against UNCG. He established his single-game career-high for most free throws as he finished 15-of-16 at the line … notched the only double-double (21 points, 11 assists) of his career against East Tennessee State becoming only the third player in Citadel history to attain a double-double by virtue of points and assists … joined Jimmy Tharpe, Kevin Hammack, Cameron Wells and Marshall Harris III as the only players in program history to dish out 100 assists in consecutive seasons, following a 120-assist effort as a junior … began the season by garnering all-tournament honors at the All-Military Classic due in large part to a 24-point outing against VMI in the season opener … catalyst to The Citadel’s 85-83 victory at UNCG as by netting a game-high 28 points, including five points in the overtime session … exploded for 27 points and season-high eight rebounds in three-point setback at Virginia Tech as he established a new career-high in 3-pointers (seven) in the process … recorded a game-high 29 points, after hitting 10-of-17 (.588) from the field, including six 3-pointers, in a three-point victory over Wofford … scored 17 points, including a shot at the buzzer, to give The Citadel a 66-65 victory at Samford … converted a 20-foot jumper with 1.8 seconds left to give the Bulldogs a 74-73 win over visiting East Tennessee State at McAlister Field House as part of his only career double-double.

JUNIOR (2013-14): Finished off his best season in a Bulldog uniform by ranking in the top three of 11 statistical categories including minutes (1st-1070), field goals made (1st-150), field goals attempted (1st-386), 3-point field goals (1st-170), 3-point field goal percentage (1st-.412), steals (1st-33), free throws made (2nd-94), assists (2nd-120), points (2nd-464), defensive rebounds (3rd-95) and total rebounds (3rd-111) … joined Marshall Harris III as the first set of Bulldog teammates to have 100 assists in same season … ended the season ranked 46th on The Citadel’s all-time scoring list (858 points) and tied with Terry Campbell for 11th on the all-time 3-point field goals made (128) … named second team College Sports Madness All-SoCon after leading all Citadel players in minutes (587), field goals made (86), field attempted (206), 3-point field goals made (43), 3-point field goals attempted (93), free throws made (54), free throws attempted (68), assists (61), steals (22) and points (269) against SoCon competition … eclipsed the 20-point mark for the third time in his career with a 21-point outing against North Greenville after hitting 7-of-11 from the floor and 5-of-7 from beyond the arc … exploded for a team-high 21 points at Nebraska, converting 8-of-16 from the field … began a career-long eight-game double-digit scoring streak with a 21-point, nine-rebound, six-assist outing against Chattanooga where played all 40 minutes … had back-to-back 20-point outings against UNCG (21) and Furman (25) as he combined to hit 13-of-26 from the floor, 8-of-17 from beyond the arc and 12-of-15 at the free throw line … named SoCon Player of the Week for Feb. 17 with a stretch that included a 22-point, six-rebound, four assist outing against Furman and a career-high 35 points against Davidson where he finished 11-of-19 from the field, including four treys, and was a perfect 9-of-9 at the free throw line … was the offensive catalyst for The Citadel in its victory over Samford, scoring 24 points by virtue of 7-of-12 shooting from the floor that included three 3-pointers … became the first Cadet since J’Mel Everhart to earn All-Tournament team honors after pouring in 24 points in back-to-back games against UNCG and Wofford … closed out the 2014 SoCon Tournament by hitting 15-of-38 (.395) from the field, 6-of-13 (462) from 3-point range and 12-of-14 (.857) at the free throw line to go along with eight assists and five rebounds.
 
CANADA 2013: Averaged 15.3 points in three games during The Citadel’s trip to Canada that included a pair of meetings with Windsor University and a contest at Fanshawe College … Moore followed an eight-point outing against Windsor on Aug. 19 with a 26-point showing against the Lancers the following night … knocked down 8-of-20 from the floor, including five 3-pointers, while converting 5-of-6 at the free throw line while making his presence felt by pulling down eight rebounds in an overtime loss on Aug. 20 … wrapped up the three-game trip with 12 points and four assists in the 65-57 win over Fanshawe … finished 6-of-13 from the floor against the Falcons and climbed the glass for nine rebounds (two offensive).
 
SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Inserted into the starting lineup at UNCG after leading Citadel reserves in points minutes (87), field goals (13), assists (10), and 3-point field goals (4) … responded with consecutive double figure contests in his first two starts of the season (11 pts., vs. UNCG; 12 pts., vs. Radford) after hitting five field goals in each game … highly active on the glass at Gardner-Webb as he posted a career-high six rebounds, all on the defensive end, against the Runnin’ Bulldogs … one of three Citadel starters to reach double digits in scoring (10 pts.) at St. Bonaventure … provided a lift off the bench with 10 points on 2-of-3 shooting from long distance in a four-point loss against College of Charleston … integral part of The Citadel’s come-from-behind victory at Furman as he scored a season-high 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting, converting 4-of-6 from 3-point range, to go along with three assists and two steals … capped off the season with 172 points to remain as the top scorer on the roster (394 pts.) entering the 2013-14 campaign.
 
FRESHMAN (2011-12): Topped the double digit plateau on nine separate occasions over the course of the season, including a 30-point performance against UVA-Wise to open January … became the first Cadet since Cameron Wells in 2009 to top the 30-point plateau and first freshman since 1972-73 to score 30 points in a single game … his 222 points topped all freshman scorers … recorded a game-high 24 points in the Dogs second meeting of the season with Georgia Southern on Feb. 11 … logged 691 minutes of action, most of any Citadel freshman … converted 32 3-pointers on the season, second-most on the team behind Lawrence Miller’s 50 treys … became the sixth set of Citadel teammates, since the full-time institution of the 3-point line in 1986-87, to have 30 or more 3-pointers in a single-season.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Nansemond River High School in Suffolk, Va. … received three letters in basketball and one in cross country … amassed 915 points (16 ppg.) and 322 assists (3.3 apg.) over the course of his career … averaged 18 points, 4.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds in his senior season … as a senior, was tabbed as a member of first team all-city, first team all-district, Eastern Region all-region team, first team All-Tidewater and Southeastern District Player of the Year … led the Warriors to a 21-6 overall record in 2010-11, including a 16-3 mark and the Southeastern Division championship … placed Nansemond River 33rd among teams in the Commonwealth of Virginia according to MaxPreps.com … played under coach Ed Young.
