2022: Appeared in 56 games, making 54 starts at second base…hit .238 with nine doubles, two triples and 17 RBIs…also drew 36 walks and scored 42 runs…delivered RBI double in season opener against Fairleigh Dickinson…went 4-for-8 with six runs scored over final two games of series…collected four hits in series opener against Northern Kentucky…went 2-for-3 with a pair of walks and three runs scored in victory over North Florida…opened series at Creighton by going 3-for-4…drew three walks and scored three times in home victory over Charleston Southern…delivered pinch-hit RBI single to tie the game in the ninth against Samford…followed it up by going 2-for-2 with a RBI at Charleston.

BEFORE THE CITADEL: Played four seasons at Florida Southern College…hit .253 with two triples and 15 runs scored last season…did not commit an error in 83 chances…helped turn 12 double plays…appeared in 21 games in 2020…second on team in doubles and triples…finished with 10 RBIs and 12 runs scored…three-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at The King’s Academy…two-time All-American selection at second base…hit .467 with 20 stolen bases as a junior, earning district hitter of the year honors…batted .370 with 15 stolen bases senior season…four-year member of the National Honor Society.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Carl and Allison Costa…graduated from FSC with a degree in sports management…working on graduate certificate in leadership.
