William Sloane Cross Country Bio
JUNIOR (2014-15): Notched his best finish, 17th, during the Outdoor season in early March at the Palmetto Classic Invitational in the 5000 meters (16:57.40) … returned to action in the Indoor season where he posted a fifth place finish (10:04.06) at the Bob Pollock Invitational … followed that with an 11th place outing (17:04.51) at the Wesley A. Brown Invitational.
SOPHOMORE (2013-14): Did not compete in any events
FRESHMAN (2012-13): Joined the team in the Outdoor campaign and made his collegiate debut at the Battle of the Beaches where he went onto finish eighth in the 3000 meters in a time of 10:11.60.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner in track and cross country … received the MVP award for cross country two years in a row … earned six medals in competition … ran a 5k time of 17:24.
PERSONAL: Son of Sue and William Sloane … majoring in computer science.
