Biography

SENIOR (2014-15): Departs with the eighth-best career field goal percentage in program history after hitting 248-of-467 (.531) from the floor … ended in a three-way tie with Craig Burgess and Ron Shiver for most career blocked shots (50) in school history … played his first full season for the Bulldogs and closed in the top three of 13 major categories including offensive rebounds (73-1st), defensive rebounds (123-1st), total rebounds (196-1st), blocks (32-1st), minutes (937-2nd), field goals (131-2nd), field goal attempts (240-2nd), field goal percentage (.546-2nd), free throws (88-2nd), free throw attempts (127-2nd), points (350-2nd), points per game (11.7-2nd) and steals (17-3rd) … his 32 blocks in 2014-15 tied him with J’Mel Everhart for 11th most in a single-season in Citadel history … capped off league play by ranking sixth in offensive rebounds (44), 10th in rebounding with 113 boards against Southern Conference opposition … posted the 10th best field goal percentage (.521, 75-144) of any shooter in SoCon play … emerged with 22 blocks in conference play, eighth most of any defender … notched his first of four double doubles on the season (23 points / 11 rebounds) after hitting 7-of-11 from the floor and 9-of-11 at the charity stripe while grabbing five rebounds against Bob Jones … garnered SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 10 after emerging with 11 points and 10 rebounds (six defensive) in 36 minutes against College of Charleston and 12 points, five rebounds, one steal and a block in a seven-point victory against Navy … solid all-around outing against Chattanooga as he had 17 points, nine rebounds and six blocks in the Southern Conference opener. His career-high six blocks against Chattanooga were the most by a Bulldog since Kirill Misyuchenko posted six against Francis Marion (Nov. 14, 1997) … followed with three swats against Virginia Tech as he extended his career-long block streak to seven games, fourth-longest by a Bulldog this century … posted game highs for The Citadel in points (19) and rebounds (five) in a setback at Michigan State … led the Dogs with 21 points and 11 rebounds, his third double-double of the season, in a league showdown at Western Carolina … notched his final career double-double (14 points / 14 rebounds) at VMI … named third team All-SoCon by College Sports Madness … joined Ashton Moore as the lone representatives from the Southern Conference to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District team honors after finishing off fall 2014 semester with 3.625 GPA.

JUNIOR (2013-14): Finished his junior season averaging 5.4 rebounds and 3.8 points in 20.1 minutes per game … logged at least three rebounds in all 18 games played after returning to the team following a lower back injury … tied teammate Quinton Marshall for fourth-most total rebounds (98) on the season due in large part to 71 defensive caroms … reached double-digit blocks (10) for the first time in his Citadel career after having two swats each against Wofford, Davidson and UNCG … snagged a season-high eight defensive rebounds in meetings with Furman, Georgia Southern and UNCG … grabbed 10 total boards (four offensive) against Furman in mid-January … continued to be a nemesis for the Paladins with a 10-rebound, six-point outing in Greenville in February … scored a season-high 10 points against Georgia Southern, hitting 5-of-6 from the field … made three starts for The Citadel over the course of the season, including a meeting with Davidson where he played 35 minutes and finished with eight points (4-6 FGs) and two blocks … proved to be a force in the paint with game-high 12 rebounds (four offensive) and eight points in the SoCon opening round victory over UNCG.

SOPHOMORE (2012-13): Sacrificed his redshirt 11 games into the 2012-13 season to appear in 19 contests … wrapped up the season ranked in the top five of nine statistical categories including field goals (third-74), field goals attempted (fifth-133), field goal percentage (second-.556), free throws (fourth-54), free throws attempted (fourth-74), offensive rebounds (second-35), defensive rebounds (second-84), total rebounds (second -119), steals (third-22) and points (third-204) … enters the 2013-14 season tied for the fourth-best field goal percentage in program history (.564; 88-156) … contributed 10 points and eight rebounds off the bench in the Dogs’ in his season debut against Western Carolina … finished a perfect 4-of-4 from the field en route to 11 points in a four-point loss to Samford at McAlister Field House … tallied eight points and eight rebounds in The Citadel’s 70-55 victory over Georgia Southern … notched his first career double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) after hitting 6-for-9 from the floor against Elon … led all Citadel scorers with 23 points and nine field goals in the 16-point second half rally against Furman … was responsible for 17 of the Bulldogs’ 60 second half points that came against the Paladins … capped off his second career double-double with a career-high 25 points and 10 rebounds at Chattanooga … knocked down 7-of-8 (.700), from the floor and 10-of-12 (.833) at the free throw line in the meeting with the Mocs … added to his solid play in February with a 10-point, 10-rebound outing against Davidson … beginning with a 19-point affair against Georgia Southern, he eclipsed the double figure mark in five straight contests, a career-best.
 
FRESHMAN (2011-12): Played in 17 games for the Cadets, making a pair of starts against Coastal Carolina and Charleston Southern … logged a career-high 24 minutes against the Chanticleers, finishing 1-of-3 from the floor en route to three points … notched a career-high six points in the All-Military Classic against VMI … contributed five rebounds in back-to-back December contests against Wofford and Coastal Carolina … brought down three offensive rebounds on the road at Wofford and followed that performance with three offensive boards against intercity rival Charleston Southern.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from V. Sue Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho, N.M. … lettered four years in basketball … tabbed honorable mention all-district, second team, first team all-district, and first team all-region honors … averaged 20.6 points per game and ranked second in the state of New Mexico in scoring as a senior … ranked as the top rebounder in New Mexico by averaging 12 rebounds per game ... earned Gatorade Player of the Year honors for the city of Rio Rancho, N.M., as a senior ... selected to participate in the NCAA First Team program … First Team program was established in 2002 to teach life skills critical to elite-level prospective men’s basketball student-athletes which will benefit the participants both on and off the court … one of four athletes from V.
