Russell Hubbs joined Citadel Strength & Conditioning as an intern strength coach after graduating from The Citadel in 2018. In 2022, he was moved up to his current position as Associate Director of Strength & Conditioning.
While interning and finishing his master’s degree, he designed programs for rifle, golf, and assisted with football. In 2021, Hubbs moved his way up the ranks as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, designing programs for volleyball, track & field, tennis and assisting with football.
Additionally, Hubbs also handles operations of the new Refuel Station in the Dawg Pound.
Hubbs graduated from The Citadel with a bachelor’s degree in Exercises Science. He also earned his master’s degree in Health, Exercise and sports Science at The Citadel.
