CHARLESTON, S.C. - Montana Hinson,

Earlier in the half, Hinson scored her second career goal when her hard shot hit the crossbar and dropped behind ETSU goalkeeper Jasmine Elliott to tie the game at one.
Vanessa Aponte gave The Citadel its first lead of the contest when she collected the rebound of her own shot and scored for the seventh time this season and 23rd time in her career.
Aponte also assisted on the Raedle goal, while

The Buccaneers (12-4, 4-2) entered the game as the highest-scoring team in the nation with just under four goals per outing and showed why in the second half. Thomai Vardali tied the game in the 60th minute, and Hannah Short scored two of her three goals in the 62nd and 72nd minutes to put ETSU back in the lead for good.
Short's hat trick increased her national-leading total to 20 goals. Jasmin Dutton collected three assists and Sarah Zadrazil had one to leave the Buccaneer duo atop the national leader board in that category with 15 each.
Elliott gave up all three Citadel goals and made four saves before being replaced by Anna Yancey two minutes into the second half. Yancey finished with one save and was the goalkeeper of record.
