GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Citadel basketball team continues its swing through North Carolina on Monday when it takes on UNCG at the Greensboro Coliseum at 7 p.m.
Â
The Citadel (5-8, 0-2 SoCon) is looking to win back-to-back games against the Spartans, who they downed in the 2014 Southern Conference Tournament 86-76, for the first time since the 2008-09 season when they took down UNCG by scores of 57-50 (Dec. 4) and 66-60 (Jan. 31).
Â
A Bulldog victory would also snap the Dogs' 19-game losing skid on an opponents' home floor that began with a 68-65 loss at Presbyterian.
Â
UNCG (5-10, 1-1 SoCon) is in search of its fourth win at home this season and first in league play after suffering a 76-55 setback against Mercer on Saturday evening.
Â
The Spartans have five players averaging double figures in scoring including Tevon Saddler (15.5), Kayel Lock (12.6), RJ White (11.4), Nicholas Paulos (11.1) and Diante Baldwin (10.7).
Â
The game can be seen live on the Southern Conference Digital Network and can be heard on Fox Radio Sports 1450 with play-by-play announcer Mike Legg making the call for the Bulldogs.
