CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel women's soccer team fell to Wofford in the final game of the regular season on Saturday afternoon 4-0.

Before the game began seniors
Andrea Davila,
Kim Maldonado and
Sam Millspaugh were recognized for their achievements during their four years at The Citadel.

The Terriers (5-7-4, 3-4-2) scored both goals in the first half within 50 seconds of each other, with the first coming at the 12:10 mark and the second at 13 minutes. The score would remain 2-0 heading into the half. Wofford tallied 14 shots in the first 45 minutes of play and had six corners.

In the second half, Wofford netted another two goals to push its lead to 4-0. That would eventually become the final, with The Citadel (1-18, 0-9) falling to Wofford on Senior Day.

Millspaugh recorded two saves in the first half and
Kim Mora snagged five saves in the second half of play.

Paula White each recorded a shot for the Bulldogs.

It will be a quick turnaround for both teams as they will square off again in the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament on Wednesday in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
