CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team fell to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in three sets on Saturday evening inside McAlister Field House.

"We continue to take steps forward and we are hoping to finish strong," head coach
Craig Mosqueda said. "We had nine players come in tonight and contribute and that is an indication of our growth."

The Bulldogs (7-21, 0-11 SoCon) out-blocked the Spartans five to four and held a .293 attack percentage in the third set.

Senior
Rachel Keefer earned her 11
th double-double of the season with 31 assists and 12 digs while junior
Samantha Espy provided a match-high 19 digs for The Citadel.

Sophomore
Moriah Smith also posted a double-double for the squad with 13 digs and 11 kills for a .450 attack percentage. Â

The Bulldogs will travel to Charleston Southern on Tuesday to take on the Bucs at 8 p.m.
