SoCon Tournament Bracket

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel women's volleyball team fell to Wofford in the last game of the regular season on Saturday evening 3-0.
 
Wofford (16-17, 7-9 SoCon) took the first set behind a score of 25-21 but never led by more than five in the set. The Terriers would take the second set handedly, 25-13, behind a flurry of kills and a blistering .600 attack percentage.
 
Wofford continued its hot hitting streak in the third set, recording 17 kills but The Citadel (7-27, 0-16 SoCon) answered with 11 of its own before eventually falling 25-21 with the Terriers clinching the match.
 
The Bulldogs were paced by Bailey Kernodle who tallied eight kills. Zuri Fenderson recorded six kills and five blocks in the contest, and Moriah Smith chipped in 10 digs and five kills. Rachel Keefer had 22 assists on the day.
 
The Southern Conference Tournament is now on deck for the Bulldogs with the first round set for Saturday. The Citadel will face Western Carolina at 9:30 a.m.
