CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team will take on crosstown rival College of Charleston on Wednesday at 3 p.m., at Patriot's Point Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs (2-23, 0-3 SoCon) fell in two matches on Sunday to conference opponent UNCG, 7-0, followed by a tough 6-1 loss to No. 42 South Carolina.
The Cougars (11-8, 1-1 CAA) enter Wednesday's match after dropping a 6-1 decision against Charlotte on Sunday. The College is led by sophomore Rodrigo Encinas and junior Josh Record, who recorded their sixth straight doubles win against the 49ers.
