CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Citadel women's soccer team dropped a close 1-0 match at Chattanooga on Friday night.
 
Chattanooga (4-7-1, 2-1 SoCon) scored the lone goal of the contest in the 26th minute and the Bulldogs (3-7, 0-3 SoCon), despite tallying nine shots, were unable to mount a comeback in the Southern Conference matchup.
 
Samara Nche and Emilie Valenciano finished with three shots each in the game while Nche tallied three shots on goal. Tori Zeltner, Mady Riegel and Caroline Cashion tallied one shot a piece.
 
Freshman Logan Leask made her eighth start in goal this season, tallying three saves in 90 minutes of play. Eight Bulldogs played the entirety of the match.
